Next morning Langley AFB was our plan ,we just learned 2 days before we headed for the states that the Raptors were back in the air after being grounded since May and we hoped for a good score that day.
It was really early and we decided to have a look at ATC at Newport News Airport first and by suprice we caught two T-38's @ Ricks Aviation. Diverted on the Friday before and a really nice woman granted us acces on to the platform.

..... MCAS Cherry Point turned out to be a real dissapointment. This a very big base and also the surrounding doesn't give much photo oppertunitys.... with also the wrong runway in use and the weather being really awfull we decided after an hour to go for Seymour Johnson AFB instead.
At least one shot was taken of the gateguard.

also the AFRC has a detachment at Seymour Johnson with the 911ARS KC-135R's....

next stop was supposed to be Shaw AFB but due to the FY ending and no more flight hours, it would remain quiet at Shaw for the rest of the week and we went for McEntire to have the best day of the week !
