Forum rules
ImageThis is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum.
Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

Spangdahlem 06-08-2012

Post by Tigerspoon »

Have spent a few hours at Spangdahlem, this afternoon. Unfortunately i've missed the A10`s (saw six of them coming inbound around 1500lt.), but nevertheless was able to catch a few F-16's recovering at around 1800Lt., and than again at around 20.15Lt. (7 acft/ 8 acft = 6 of them remaining the same each wave)
So here are the results:

And C&C is welcome. Cheers

Nice set of pictures with great atmospheric lighting conditions!
The two-seater is a very welcome addition to it.

Yes, we name them in Italian colors "doratelli". But if you expect an hour more they were doing color "Balotelli". ;-)

Thank You for all your comments!! And YES they were on RWY23 yesterday. Like I said it's unfortunately more or less impossible to make a clear shot of a landing aircraft on RWY23 till at least 1530Lt. (when the sun is going around the axis) due to the very high vegetation................
Hopefully the Hog's are going to perform "late flights" the next weeks, before they're all gone!!
