Italian Air Force finest - the 313° Gruppo

Post by GME-AirFoto »

or better know as the "Frecce Tricolori". The currently undergoing airshow season is already the 30th on the MB 339PAN for the Italian team. But before their exhilarating show can be perfectly demonstrated to a wide audience a lot of hard work is essential and needs to be done before the start up in May. The airshow season is already underway these days, and the Frecce flown at Waddo and currently they are at Moscow. We looked behind the scenes of the pre-season of the 313 ° Gruppo addestramento acrobatico - Pattuglia Acrobatica Nazionale (PAN) at Rivolto in April. World famous are the "Three-colored Arrows" more than just an aerobatic team, they are the pride of an entire country - they are the pride of whole Italy!

Some photos of the pre-season training and preperations at Rivolto.

We were lucky to see 3 flights in two day. Two full displays at Istrana and at Lignano and a normal one with 5 jets at Rivolto.
