Lelystad - EHLE 14/01/2013 CIV (AP-BHZ F-27)

Post by bjfloor »

Hello,

Here are my pics of the AP-BHZ. The old lady made a nice low-pass before landing.
Think there will show up some more pictures, as ther were many spotters arround!
The weather turned out just fine for Lelystad as you can see on the pictures.
More of them are on my website.
Hope you enjoy!

Regards,
Berend Jan Floor

Wow, beautiful. Let's hope she'll be on the apron for a little while.

It will stay for a D-check, so expect it to see it a lot when she's done.

She's also for sale. The resurrected F27 Friendship Association is trying to get funding to buy her in order to preserve and operate a flying F27 once again. The old ones were almost completely owned by the Aviodrome and were "lost" during the bankruptcy of the Aviodrome.

Let's hope they succeed!

At the moment you wrote that, it was in the process of being parked inside the Catalina hangar.
It is now wedged in between the PH-PBA and the PH-PBY...

Good to see that they are still active. PH-FHF seems to be lost due to the mismanagement of the Aviodrommel.
Is there a new contact for the FFA or is it still on their old site.?

What happened with PH-FHF and PH-NVF? I thought they where still at the Aviodrome?

Indeed, both Friendships are still at Lelystad.
But according to several sources the Fokker Heritage Trust and the Fokker Friendship Association had been rather "annexed/taken over" by the Aviodrome over the last few years.
