It had been the first day out this year together with my dad, so we were looking for some really good stuff

So where to go? Decision was made at around 0300lt tonight, to pay Wittmund a visit. And indeed it was worth the 4hrs drive, despite the changing, non forecasted weather conditions.
I'm only going to show 4 pictures right now, cause i guess there will be some more members posting their stuff from today, as well (there were around 30 spotter all aorund the fence)

38+10 was supporting 38+24 during it's Phinal Flight to Jever

In the afternoon 38+33 was the only active Rhino, after 10's Flame Out during Take Off

and last not least 2 A-10C from 81st FS made a Fuel Stop around 1415Lt. Maybe their last visit to Wittmund.........

What a shame that the Rhino's will soon stand down! They look better than ever in their fresh "clothes"

First of all, thanks for all the positive comments!! So as you all requested for some more, i'm going to show you another 8 shots from yesterdays challenging weather conditions. Hope you'll like them as much as i do

A4N Skyhawk, N432FS from the "local" BAe Squadron

was on mission together with N268WL in the morning, as well as in the afternoon.

38+10 awaiting Take Off clearance for a short mission

and back again for a Touch and Go

"Eagle", 46+55, ex JaboG32, now in charge with AG-51 during a Low Approach

38+33 during one of it's several approaches in the afternoon

and two last shots of the "Star Guest": A-10C Thunderbolt II from 81st Fighter Squadron at Spangdahlem; soon they will be history in Germany, as well as the Rhinos!!

The F-4's indeed look very good in their new paint but also the A-10 looks new....too bad both types will leave western Europe....

Very nice report and pictures. On monday there were three F-4's active, including the QRA. A Eurofighter was also present to keep us warm. Cold and windy conditions....brrrrr...

Yeah it was fu***** cold yesterday....... We had 5 different Phantoms (incl. QRA) of which one departed to Jever.
Another 2 were noticed beeing towed!!
