Crazy Trip 2013 - Koksijde

The yearly evacuation excercise of the Belgian Defence was held again at the Koksijde region this year. For airsupport of the troops, and evacuation of the population, 3 C-130's were used and operated out of Florennes to Koksijde. Flight activity at Koksijde was on Tuesday 28, Wednesday 29 and Thursday 30 May 2013. Unfortunatly the weather was cold, rainy, foggy and windy all 3 days, so don't expect high quality pictures. But we had a great time to see some activity of the mighty herc's again at Koksijde!!





Even with the bad weather, a lot of people came to the airfield to have a look

The second and fifth shot of the low take-off of the CH04 are very good.
The corkscrew of the props gives a very nice effect.
