Yesterday the 3rd we visited RAF Coningsby. The weather was great and 7 of the 8 Saudi's flew.

Those two Typhoons landed together or were they photographed during take-off?

Hey Patrick, you beat me to it, I see! Good shots, not bad for a fifteen minute visit in the landing at CBY :)

pfff, just in time Hans. And 15 minutes was more then enough :-o. Nice different angels btw!
The 2 Typhoons approached together with on starting an overschoot half a mile before touchdown.

But, without wanting to sound too pessimistic, Saudi Tornados used to be tenfold more beautiful in their old camo.... :(

The Saudis did paint all their beautyfully camouflaged Tornado IDS in this boring grey by now?
Now the look almost exactly like RAF ones with the exception of a few inches of green national insignia ...
Nevertheless - great pictures!

Thanks! Start of the Monday morning launch was around 09.50, Tuesday morning launch started around 10.15.
