Soesterberg 1994

I have an undated pic of Swedish C-130 844 (84004) at Soesterberg. I cannot find it in my logs. As I have lost my entire log for 1994 I think that this was in that year. Does anyone have a date for this one?

Hey Fred,

I only have 84008 at EHSB on October 21st 1994. I paid (very) frequent visits in that period and do not have any sightings of 844. Perhaps is was only there for a few hours?

Saw 84004 at the 1st of August 1994 at SSB. Support for 1 Lansen and 3 Draken....
Think they were on the way to the UK?

Thank you! Considering the folie on the trees, I suppose August 1st must be correct. I don't remember seeing the other Swedish aircraft at S'berg.

according to our database from Soesterberg Spotting Group;

84004/844 noted on 27-2-1994 and 1-8-1994

we only searched on our database during 1994.

84004/844 was at SSB July 27, 1994 as well together with the three Drakens and single Lansen.
Tp-84 came in as Swedish 844 and the Drakens and Lansen as Swedish 351A/B/C and Swedish 352B resp.

correct, on 27-7-1994 noted local basespotters:

84004/844
32512/03
35520/14
35607/07
35531/31

noted again on 1-8-1994 , as departed.

type error in above mail 27-2 should be 27-7 sorry for this.
