As four F-16 are at BAP at the moment some of the F-16AM‘s of Fighter Wing obviously regain their squadron marks (left side only as in the past). E-602 was noted with an Esk 730 badge and E-597 was also seen with it on an official photo at BAP detachment.
Esk 727 is chosen as the one and only F-35A unit in the future and Esk 730 will perhaps get the last chance ever to show its squadron insignia on a fighter aircraft.
Noted during a small exercise on 28.04. were the following Esk 727/730/Fighter Wing F-16AM/BM:
E-603 and E-605 (Have Glass V) departed with two live AIM-120 and live AIM-9 each, perhaps to Bornholm (for QRA).
The morning mission taking off from 9.55 to 10.16h and comprised off:
E-107, E-596, E-597, E-598, E-600, E-601, ET-197 and ET 615 plus "Moon Beam" QRA with E-189 and E-194 (still the 60 years RDanAF fin from 2010) in a Tango Scramble.
Highlight was the roll out of "Have Glass V" coloured F-16BM ET-613, departing in clean configuration and it returned from an lunch visit to Volkel (!) in the afternoon.
In the afternoon the following F-16AM/BM took off from 13.20 to 13.35h:
E-107, E-596, E-598, E-600, E-601, E-602, E-607, ET-197 and ET-615
T-17 Supporter T-409 in "Baby Blue" colours with Fl.Sk.badge but of Skrydstrup Stn. Flt. flew once in the morning and once in the afternoon with some nice approaches.
During the T-17 approaches and the return of ET-613 an "Alpha Scramble" happenend! Both aircrafts had to wait in their pattern and E-189 and E-194 (from the morning mission) again took off with afterburner and turned to heading NE. They retained their afterburners and disappeared soon and could still be heared some 3-4 minutes later!
Flying two missions with the F-16´s was Falcon 20 G-FRAW of Draken Ltd. while C-130J-30 B-583 of Esk 721 took off for a mission in the afternoon and departed after a low flypast at Skrydstrup to Aalborg.
E-610 plus three more unidentified were also noted.
Interesting was the absence of all twelve F-16s in the range E-004 to E-018.
Again the base was great and 15 different F-16AM/BM in 24 missions were much better than we thought!

Noted on 17.06 in the morning mission taking off from 9.55-10.15h were the following F-16AM/BM of Fighter Wing:
E-005 Have Glass V
E-006, departed for Karup Air Show static
E-017
E-194, still in 60 years RDanAF fin, departed to Karup as backup for „Dannebrog“ E-191, which will part of the flying display
E-596
E-602
E-607
ET-198, asked for a low squadron attack with afterburner before landing
ET-613 Have Glass V, departed with fueltanks and two travel pods possibly to Finland
The four QRA sheds were open all the time and Have Glass V F-16AM E-605 was towed clean from this area to the south side.
Possibly bringing back the two pilots of E-194 and E-006 were FlSk T-17 T-403 and T-425 landing just after lunch.
After the Danish Defence Secretary‘s announcement to keep their F-16 three years longer the following 43 F-16AM/BM should be active with Esk 727 of Fighter Wing at Skrydstrup:
These were seen in 2021 and/or 2022:
Block-10 F-16AM/BM (6 a/c):
E-189, E-190, E-191 „Dannebrog“, E-194 „60 years RDanAF“ plus ET-207 and ET-208 (all six are regularly part of the QRA „Moon Beam“). As QRA they are normally packed with one belly tank, two AIM-9 and two Air Maneuvering Devices. Since the end of February the Block-10 were also modified to operate two AIM-120 from the outer wing pylons and could be seen with them during QRA missions as well.
Not seen in these two years were AM E-018 and BM ET-022 making up the number 43 and these could be likely candidates for another Have Glass V paint shop.

Took a quick look at my pictures taken yesterday at Skrydstrup and E-008 flew a mission during the morning (in normal c/s).
