LOG: Panama area, 09-10feb

Hi,

We arrived at Panama Pacifico (BLB). Be aware, no facilities here (I think not even an ATM), so make sure you have US Dollars with you.
As we knew in advance, we were prepared and took a taxi to Panama Albrook (approx 20-25 USD)

Panama Albrook is a difficult airport to spot. Were stopped by local security in the terminal (after a passport check we could continue),
tried to read off aircrafts from a gate (on the northern side), but were sent away by the guards once they saw us.
Walked to the southern side of the airport, read off what we could but as it didn’t felt good we took a taxi immediately (to Tocumen).

Our hotel at Tocumen was the Express Inn (Airport Hostel). There is a small number of rooms with a view to the north, meaning we could see the departures (Wifi worked fine).
Only problem was that the Embraer 190’s did not show up on FR24 (and that was the mean reason to visit Panama).
So we decided to go outside (and read off the aircrafts) once there was an outbound ‘rush’.
This is the case at Tocumen, 1,5hrs absolutely no outbound followed by a period of 1,5hrs with every 2 minutes a departure.
