Firefighting in Sweden.

Firefighting with aircraft and helicopters.
Near 100 large forest fires in Sweden. Several of them out of control.
The most important firefighters is aircraft and helicopters.
Yesterday flew the two Italian firefighting aircraft 100 missions each with over 6000 liter water.

Today is at least 4 aircraft and over 20 helicopters in use.
Several more are on way.
Aircraft is Italian and French.
Helicopters comes from Sweden, Norway, Germany and Baltic.

Austria consider support.

Denmark have 12 firefighting vehicles and 55 firefighters in Sweden.
Denmark consider more support.

France have 2 firefighting aircraft and a reconnaissance plane in Sweden. Operating base Örebro.
France send 60 firefighters with special education for rough terrain.

Germany have send 5 special firefighting helicopters. They operate from Sundsvall.
Germany send 46 firefighters with equipment.
Germany consider more support.

Italy have 2 firefighting aircraft. Operating base Örebro.

Lithuania have 1 helicopter in Sweden for firefighting.
Lithuania consider more support.

Norway have around 10 helicopters and firefighters in Sweden.

Poland have 44 firefighting vehicles and 139 firefighters in Sweden.
Poland consider more support.

One Air Tractor AT-802 firefighter from Portugal to Sweden.

It takes around 3000 liter of water.

The 2 French and 2 Italian firefighters are still in Sweden. They are very important for the firefighting.
The only who can be used in heavy fire together with the helicopters.
