The serials of DM01 and DM02 are in Arabic, but appear to be 9251 and 9252.

Did Egypt only order dual seat Rafales?

Above article states 16 duals DM and 8 single seaters EM ...

Any suggestions as to why they ordered more duals than single seaters?

Doesn't the French AF also has more duals than singles, at least initially? Remember the duals are not just for training, in France they also replace the 2000D and N, both oprated by a 2-(wo)man crew.
Rome has Bufalotta, Arizona has alotta BUFF..
