Venezuela SU30 crash 17/09/2015

yesterday a SU30 crashed near the Colombian border, after an 'illicit aircraft' believed to be Colombian was found violating airspace.
Fate of the 2 crew is unclear.
Also cause of the accident.

both pilots died in the crash :(

reaction of President Maduro : 'Venezuela seeks to replace this SU30, and plans to buy at least 12 new SU30s from Russia (and military equipment from China) in order to defend airspace and combat drug trafficking'

And what are they going to use to pay for those new SU30's? Or does that not matter ....

no, but Venezuela being an oil producing country, most likely the oil will provide the cash to pay for the SU30s.....
