Taking a closer look at that canopy reveals the typical GAZ-21 mirror on top so aircraft that crashed is most likely a single seat MiG-21bis. But thanks for your commentK-9 wrote:The Mig-23 has two seperate canopies.

I totally agree with Orange, definitly not a MiG-23 canopy as I think a MiG-23UB has a framed canopy with a retractable periscope.
