VMR-1 C-40A Update

Per their Facebook page, VMR-1 at NASJRB Fort Worth is due to receive their first C-40A in the "summer 2021 timeframe" and the second one a "little while after that." They are presumably sharing with VR-59 for now (while still not fully staffed).

Per my discussion the other day with a VR-59 (which is currently augmented by VMR-1 personnel) aircrew member, the first delivery of C-40A to VMR-1 has (again) been pushed back to April 2022.

Their facebook page shows aircraft at Rockford, IL facility still in its old livery:
