Via marinetraffic S92 SAR heli can be tracked. As well as two lifeboats.

S92 is SAR 111232516

Lifeboats are: RNLI Lifeboat 13 15 and 13 22

There might be more lifeboats on scene / joining as not everything is visible.

It looks like various offshore vessels are also heading for the crash site / support in the search. Edda Mistral even gives "SAR support" as destination in AIS.

Aviation In Action was streaming live from Lakenheath this morning, if I'm not mistaken the fourth F-15C 86-0176/LN of the second 493FS flight does not return to base.

Search efforts by Her Majesty's Coastguard have located wreckage from the downed F-15C Eagle
and recovery efforts are underway.
The pilot is still missing, and search and rescue efforts continue.

Unfortunately the pilot did not survive the crash.

The pilot of the downed F-15C Eagle from the 48th Fighter Wing has been located, and confirmed deceased.

This is a tragic loss for the 48th Fighter Wing community, and our deepest condolences go out to the pilot's family and the 493rd Fighter Squadron
