I was at Heijplaat / Roeiersvereniging De Eendracht on unrelated business on Tuesday and views from there towards the suggested landing docks is very difficult with business premises in between on the Heijplaatweg. Erwin, in total four 'newer' 6-17th CAV AH-64Ds were swapped with four 'older' 1-3rd AVN Apaches. The 'newer' Apaches 5582, 5626, 7037 and 7038 should still be present with 1-3rd AVN.Three Apaches were left behind on one of the earlier occasions, by 6-17th CAV / 4th CAB:

Sjoerd, can you confirm that the two 'extra' Apaches (7014 and 5543) actually wear 3rd CAB markings and indeed are new transfers? Or could it be that they just are returning back home to Germany after a joint exercise?EvD, you are correct, these are indeed former Ansbach machines, but showing 3rd CAB markings now! So could it be that 12th CAB/1-3 Avn is once again in the process of moving their "older" Apaches along with 3rd CAB's return to CONUS and finally obtaing newer E-models? Possibly 101st leaving (some) of them here?
