KLu C-130s early replacement

Yesterday the junior minister for defence announced that he four Dutch C-130s will be replaced earlier than anticipated. See https://www.defensie.nl/actueel/nieuws/ ... -vervangen

Looking at the specs for the new aircraft, does that mean it will be the A400?
Would be logical.

Volgens mij is er toch al beslist dat het C-130 J zou worden? En dan 5 stuks?

Think the C-390 Millennium has little chance, as Defence is looking for a proven, off-the-shelf-plane with >2000 miles range. C-390 has 1750 miles range.

Nevertheless, would love to see a Millennium with dutch roundels, or even more dreaming, a dutch Kawasaki C-2 8)
