Phantoms retired at Misawa Japan

Post by Uni »

Hi, all.

F-4EJ"kai"s of the 8sqn., Misawa Japan made their final flight on 6 Mar., 2009.
It was almost rainy day and four Phantoms made formation fly-by twice.
Now the 8 sqn. operates F-2s and T-4s.

Three sqn.s are still operetes Phantoms in JASDF. They are;
301sqn., Nyutabaru A.B..
302sqn., Hyakuri A.B., some Phantoms are remaining at Naha by now.
501sqn., Hyakuri A.B., operates RF-4E and RF-4EJ.

Hyakuri "airport" side become a nice area to see the a/cs,
but when you take a photo, you had better to use the steps higher than 1 meter.
You can purchase the steps around 4,000-7,000 yen at the tool shop in Japan.
