Are the "AV" F-16's replacing the earlier on mentiond five AV-8 of the italians?

I sure do not hope so!

Guess the "AV" F-16s are USAFE vipers from Aviano, it otherwise would have most probably stated "AMI F-16's"..........

I think the Harriers are coming. This morning wolf 01 landed in Cervia for fuel stop.

Where did you read this information about the "Aviano" Vipers. It is not mentioned in the top of this subject and also not mentioned on http://www.florennes-as.be.

... so I sure do not hope that the Harriers are replaced by "Aviano" Vipers.

After tomorrow we will kniw the answer. Time will tell!

I think you have seen the Aviano F-16's for AMI F-16's because also Italian transporters where listed !!

Guess we'll indeed see (hear) tomorrow, but if there are indeed AMI Vipers as well as AV-8's, what happened to the AMI Typhoons?

Buzzard 70 departed this morning Aviano, believe to TLP.
