Anybody an idea why the Spanish are leaving already tomorrow, is this mission (13-12) already cancelled ? And what about the CSAR HH-3F's, did they flew today and are/where they planned for tomorrow?

Ciao, Pony02

Also on the platform early today was Dutch F-16AM J-142. I didn't see this one take off, but it wasn't present anymore when we left.
Confirmation on the last AV-8 would be very nice indeed!! :D

Yesterday was a foggy day, but a mission was finally flown although a bit late.. I guess it was the resistant fog.

For me it was the first time at Florennes, and next time will see better weather I hope.

There was a ground abort of a Dutch F-16AM and also one of the HH-3Fs made a very short mission.

Full log can be seen at http://www.florennes-as.be" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;.

Pictures, although nog great because of the terrible weather, will soon be posted on the photo forum.

The J-142 had a ground abort just before takeoff. Later it was towed away to a hangar.

This morning the weather forecast looked quite promising, so I drove down to Florennes. Day started cloudy, but more and more blue sky became visible. TLP mission departed between 12:15 and 12:55. All aircraft were back by 14:00.

Two transports to start with:
MM61293/46-59 C-130J-30 AMI / 50 Gruppo I-2184 arrived approx. 11:00, departed 12:00

extra based F-16s 13th

Post by erik_kamphuis »

Some extra based F-16s yesterday:

FA-67 F-16AM on 2W flightline
FB-12? F-16BM on 2W flightline

FA-97 F-16AM in front off shelter near TLP-flightline (back-up a/c)

FA-130 that was mentioned had also tailcode "FS".

The Pelican's left at 09.40h as I0992A/B to Dijon.
F-16CG 89-2038/AV was towed to the shelterarea at about 12.00h.
