For paring probably watch the wildlife in the surrounding fields :-)!

The access from the North to Marsum is really very simple, from the A31 (Harlingen-Leeuwarden) there is an exit no22 Marsum to the N383 in the direction of Beetgumermolen, then the N398 in the direction of Stiens and at the next roundabout turn in the direction of Marsum (every routeplanner can show you the correct way).
We're staying in Leeuwarden, so to access the parking spot, do we need to come in from the North following these instruction or can we get to the parking spot by driving through Marsum?

Might be have already been covered, but can anyone confirm if spots 2 & 5 on the Scramble guide will be accessible?

Spot 2 definitely looks like it's in the Eastern no go zone.

Spot 5 doesn't look like it's in the Western no go zone although there’s no designated parking showing nearby. Is it possible to park in Tjessingawei and walk?

2 & 5 are both off limits, you will get a fine of €90 if you go in the fields or on the road leading to spot 5.

They will have to put up signs because there will also be people who have not read this ;-) By the way, I can see why you close for instance the spot at 27 because there is no road leading there but why close the spot at 09? Also I see some spots which I would close too, but let's not awake sleeping dogs.....

Is it known at what time the parking spot @ Marssum opens? Can't find that.

BTW, despite some negative reactions here and there, I guess we shouldn't forget this exercise is not to please spotters, but provide aircrew with realistic training. We are merely audience..

Yes, is open (but no guarantee for free parking spots, as it is a small place...)
Eastside of the parallelroad is also available for parking
