According to the "times", the 480th FS will move to Incirlik AB, Turkey to attack ISIS. I hope some F-16 will stay at Spangdahlem...

Yesterday CUBE11-15 arrived back at Spang from the States after Red Flag participation. Don't know how many already returned and of they all are returned.

Although it might be true off course but....the article says:

A squadron of American F-16 fighter jets is likely to be moved from Germany as part of an agreement with Ankara to allow US aircraft to attack Isis from Turkey.

The US Air Force 480th Fighter Squadron, stationed at Spangdahlem, is expected to deploy to Incirlik, the huge airbase in southern Turkey, accompanied by up to 200 troops to protect the F-16 Fighting Falcons.

Seems like an educated guess from a journalist in my opinion.
I could be wrong, but I have never seen a report where on beforehand a deployment is underway the USAF is mentioning the unit involved.

I have to admit, I can not read the full article...perhaps it is mentioned further down below.

@Robert, they were the first to return from Red Flag. second cell canceld and nothing heard so far on the third cell.
