Dash7 C-GGUL

Post by Jovel »

For the numbercrunchers: At the moment (wintertime) Dash7 C-GGUL is visible, through the trees, from a road called Scherpenering. It's parked for a while now in the shelter area.

For those interested in C-GGUL, this is about the best you can do.
Below a link to the exact location the photos were shot from. It is quite easy to find as there are two sport shirts tied to the trees in memory to a fatal 2012 car accident.

Hiya!

Unfortunately I do not need the bird(saw it in Vancouver quite some moons ago), but just out of curiosity: when exactly did this plane arrive?

(And are there any other planes hiding in the bushes out there?)

I had not realized it had been this long. But you are right! Time flies.

Yup, the fuselage of KLu Fokker 27 C-9 can be seen in the same area.

An ex RAAF DC-2 should also be somewhere in that area.

Last I heard was that the DC-2 is in one of the hangars near apron west.

Hiya!

Interesting information, thanks guys!

The RAAF DC-2 is A30-14 c/n 1288 (formerly?) of the Dutch Dakota Association, I presume? I was under the impression that that would still be at Lelystad in the Aviodrome storage...
