Post by Stafsels »

Is known which participants of Falcon Leap will participate in the drops of Saturday at the Ginkelse Heide?

Kind regards,

Stafsels

Will there be only 1 mass drop saturday around 10.30h?
The site from Ede only mentions this time.
Some years ago I remember they flew 2-3 sorties (when wether/wind permits ofcourse)

For now apparently only one drop is scheduled indeed, in the morning. Which aircraft will participate I don't know, just wait and see I guess.

Great event and aircraft were just back at Eindhoven before the rain.

Only rnlaf c-130h30 g-275 went back to the platform onside with p4. Others remained on Oost. One texas ang herc did not fly.

Decided to go to Ginkelse Heide this time.... never too old to try 'new' things.
In order of appearance / flight build-up
G-273 Rogue 11
ZH872 Rogue 12
MM62193 Rogue 14
17-5900 (Rogue 15) shows "reg: 17-5900"
17-5904 (Rogue 16) shows "reg: 17-5904"
2706 (Rogue 17) shows ... nothing
024 Rogue 18

Did G-275 (as Rogue 13?) have a ground abort? From above sequence should have been in as "Rogue 13".
Anyone catch the RT for the flight?

Had a great experience, a total of 7 passes were made over the drop zone, including a farewell pass. With some banking!

Nope no groundabort.
G275 did not start up saturday.

Perhaps Rogue 13 was assigned to Rnlaf c-130h g-781 or the third c-130j30 from the Texas ang that did not fly saturday.

Just for clarification: the platform "onside with P4" is mil-east (oost) and the platform on the other side of the runway as seen from p4 is mil-west.
