Useful information for the people traveling through Europe and thinking about a short stop at Landsberg. It is completely empty. Don’t know why.

Because it has been abandoned by the Luftwaffe. They are working on a sale of the airbase.

Initially the idea was that Landsberg (Penzing) would be held in reserve, but with LTG-61 due to be re-established at nearby Lechfeid, this is thrown into doubt.
