LTG 62 A400M 54+21 was rolled out today with a special Air Defender/US flag colored fin! It is the first special colored A400 in German service.

The first flight of 54+21 was planned for the next days, but obviously postponed.

For the second time in history LTG 62 flew with 24 different A400M in one single month - this time in March 2023.

Active were: 54+02, 08, 09, 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 20, 22, 23, 24, 26, 31, 32, 33, 34, 36, 37, 39, 40, 41.

Active A400M of LTG 62 on 11.04. were:

54+12, 54+21 (special coloured), 54+31, 54+32, 54+33, 54+34, 54+37 and 54+38.

Overshooting was Tornado IDS 43+98 of TLwG 33.

Active LTG 62 A400M on 13.04. were:

54+04, 54+16 (relieved by 54+34 at Al Azraq), 54+18, 54+26, 54+32 (from/to Andoya), 54+37, 54+40.

On the ramp were nine more, including special painted 54+21.

54+04 arrived as „DIXI15“ and replaced 54+26 as long term loan for WTD 61 on this day, which departed to Manching.

Overshooting were two NH90NTH of MFG 5, of which 79+59 was identified.

The Hercy visited twice.

Another TLwG 33 Tornado IDS, 45+35, arrived on late-afternoon on 17.04. due to low fuel of and stayed for the night.

Visiting on 18.04. was HAF/356.MTM C-130H 752.

Tornado 45+35 of TLwG 33 departed to Nörvenich.

Today eleven different LTG 62 A400M were active:

54+04, 54+14, 54+16, 54+25, 54+31, 54+33, 54+36, 54+38, 54+39, 54+40, and 54+41.

Two additional A400M on 20.04. were 54+12 and 54+18 and so 13 different were active.

I spent two hours at Wunstorf today. Here are the serials that were noted. The serials are all read by me and noted between 11.30 and 13.30 in the late morning and early afternoon.

Last flown in May 2022 A400M 54+06 arrived back from heavy maintenance at Manching on 27.04. It also got one new engine.

The Sudan evacuation force will arrive back shortly in numbers.

Special painted 54+21 made several flights this week, e.g. to Sevilla, Nörvenich, Andoya and Ämari and did also local training on 25.04.

Planned for an arrival on 28.04. from Al Azraq were the following LTG 62 A400M:

54+39, 54+24, 54+18, 54+20, and 54+12 some hours later plus A.321-251Nx 15+11 of FBS BMVg.

54+12, 54+20 and 54+24 were the three A400M which directly flew several times from/to Wadi Sayyidna since last week.

Arriving just after 16.00h were A.340-313 16+01 and Global 6000 14+07 of FBS BMVg with BM Boris Pistorius and BM Annalena Baerbock and a press delegation.

Did a visit on 27/4 from 16.00/17.00hrs

54+04, 54+06, 54+14, 54+15, 54+17, 54+23, 54+36, 54+37 and 54+38
There was 1 more 54+33 MSN100 but this one needs confirmation.

Also the L+LX (ex 50+60) C-160 and a Tornado whitout a serial. (I/A??)
