How is it that you guys got onto the base itself and near the shelters and aircraft? Did you break in and sneak over there?

No, we did not break in (this time).

The Harrier was taken at Eindhoven Air Show, 1987.
The G.91 was taken at the Luftwaffe Museum at Uetersen, 1986.

There are also some 'break in' photo's in the archive, Roel wil post the scans as soon as he has time.

Someone should also have a picture of Chris and me in a KLu Volkswagen Transporter on the Soesterberg taxiway, after having been picked up after climbing the fence to take photos of a Danish CF-104D.
Nowadays I only 'negotiate' fences when necessary, but the combination of age and body weight means that mostly I crawl under fences.
I don't want to start a discussion about the fact if it is acceptable or not to climb fences, but sometimes I still do.
