So, rescanned the old slides again, and removed a lot of dust.

While doing this, I found a rather cr%ppy slide.. but reading the description on the frame let my heart skip a beat..

Image
The original frame has the following remarks on it:
50258/WA & 50262/WA, A-10A 66FWS/51TTW. The second line: BTW: 17-02-1976.
Slide was framed in England.. Was this shot taken at Bentwaters??

Rest is a repost of the first series

The 131TFS/104TFG received their Warthogs new from the factory. Here is 78-0632 taxying back to the ANG ramp at Westfield, MA on 17 November 1979 with low hours on the airframe.

Repost of the Hog with cold feet.

On some occasions you just know you've packed the wrong camo for the job ;)

Oh Tom, to get back on the canned air, I found another trick.
Bought me a photo cleaning kit, for use on camera equipment. It has a large silicone blower packed with it.
Squeeze it, and you will get a lot of air out of it.. blows most of the dust off :)

This photo isn't from the best angle, but the aircraft has 70th Anniv markings and the sky is pretty. 78-0646 of the 118FS/103FG CT ANG at Volk ANGB, WI., 21 July 1994
