Can you enter EHSB (or what's left) without restriction these days? Or do you still have to be put on a list to be able to enter the former base?

You still have to be on a list.

It will take some time before you can enter the base unrestricted. Apart from that, a few areas will remain in the hands of the DoD

Although Soesterberg is closed as aerodrome it is still an military installation, and therefor not accesible for civilians. The southern part, the old American camp, will stay open for DVVO (the defence transport organisation).

And now we have this topic fore the infrastructure of the old airbase it self. But I you posted some intresting pictures of the inside of the tower, maybe you have some more (and pictures of old aircraft fore the other topics ofcourse)
