( off-topic; I really don't like the usual landscape HDR shots which you see a lot at flickr and other photo-sites ).

Iwan, thanx for taking the time to explain about HDR. Looks like you put a lot of time in mastering HDR. I must say I like the normal shot better in this particular case, but many of the examples in the HDR thread look stunning enough to realise HDR can sometimes deliver results that make normal pictures look miserable.
