Your first aircraft picture

Post by RogierV »

I noticed that the photographing skills of some new forum members improved really fast last years. This made me think about my first pictures. Please post your first aircraft picture you ever made. (As you only have one first picture, please post only one picture!)

P.s. I couldn't remember if this topic already exists. If so, please feel free to close/merge.

What a coincidence, I had a discussion this week about my first picture and had to look it up:

How it all started

Post by Shannon spotter »

Driving home last night the missus asked me how i became interested in military aircraft spotting. it had to be my Uncle, dragging me around Europe to various airshows before i could even walk properly! Arriving at a show with my ready to go camera from "Het Kruitvat" snapping away with ohs and ahs while the red arrows provided the soundtrack to my life than  . So when i came home i went in search of the good old days, here are some of my first shots i took at Paris 95 and another show i can't remember where:

Dirk,
what kind of camera did you use, I want one for myself. It is the only camera that can make 3 pictures at the same time with different angles. :evilbat:

John (Redskin), the topic Dirk started yesterday and the topic started by me long time ago were merged by a moderator. So this is why he posted three 'first' pics.

EDIT by mod; correct explanation

LOL Nice topic!

Actually, this is my second picture; I posted my first one in another thread (http://www.scramble.nl/forum/viewtopic. ... 59#p370059" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) just a couple of hours ago :)

And yes, they are from late May this year, when I bought my EOS 1000D to see if I would go like this stuff.
And guess what... I do!

As you all can see, I still have a lot to learn, but I think I'm improving
