Feel free to burn this photo down in any way you like. If this topic did not exist this picture would have never made it to the internet as far as i am concerned. I was trying my new camera at ehlw and the sun was behind clouds............... until the vipers returned to base.
Please don't tell me i messed up.

Hi Pete, I'll admit that it's a bit blurry however this is not 'The Pin Sharp' photos thread and it's about backlighting which is why I will comment only about the lighting in this case.
I struggle to see the photo getting support from everybody however I think you have caught this F-16 very well. The Backlighting has created an unusual but fascinating sky and the aircraft is still exposed well.

Good for you for continuing to post despite these pointless gripes against some shots, if your going to post negatively about backlighting photos then please go and do it somewhere else as all people are doing is following the topic title. I have some photos backlit I took when I was 13 and only just started aviation photography that I thought were ace then, now I look back at them and think that they are dreadful.

'Not everyone likes the same foods as each other' - this is quite similar to threads like these because not everyone is going to like the same compositions/effects on photos as each other.

Congratulations,
Chris.

Many thanks Chris,

About the photo being blurry, you are right ( i still had my steady shot on. I later learned it is better to shut it off ).It seems to work agains you if you are panning etc.
