Militair Museum Soesterberg

Post by ETURSPOTTER »

Hi all,

Today I was delivering goods for the museum and I saw that when I enter the camp on the right hand there was a radar station still working. Can anybody tel me more about it.

I also spotted a Breguet Atlantic # 250 standing close to the museum. also 2 leopard tanks, one already at the museum site and a couple of fuel tanks.

rumors at the spot told me that there has bin already some a/c inside it, but I wasn't allowed to go end check it out, so if they =censored= me I'm sorry to write it.

It gave me a strange & sad feeling riding a truck and walking on the tarmac were in de good old days the visiting aircraft were parking.
If you want to see some imaging's how it gone be, check google earth and the link.

Greetings Frits.

Een mooi artikel hierover staat op:
http://www.rvo.nl/onderwerpen/duurzaam- ... ving/radar
