Req: TU Delft

Post by erik_kamphuis »

At Eurodemobbed I see a picture of a white Enaer Eaglet EE-10 (small prop plane) PH-EAG. It is hanging at the ceiling in building 62, the reception building of the TU Delft. For me it is an interesting one, as it is former Chillian AF 182.

Can anyone give me info if this plane is visible through the windows from outside the building? Can this building be reached in weekend days or it the area locked?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Erik, according some websites it’s NOT ex Chile.
PH-EAG Euro-Enaer EE-10 Eaglet 04
5549
24.04.1998 Euro-Enaer Holding BV, Den Helder.
25.07.2002 TU Delft Faculteit Lucht- en Ruimtevaarttechniek, Delft.
23.01.2011 Bewijs van Luchtwaardigheid verlopen.
08.03.2012 Inschrijving doorgehaald.
Voor de ontwikkeling van dit protype werd als basis genomen een van de prototypes van de Enaer Namcu.
Letterlijk: "The prototype Aircraft uses, as a basis, the structure of one of the Namcu prototype aircraft" en
over het bewijs van eigendom en de-registratie: "But since the aircraft has not existed officially before,
Euro-Enaer can not submit a proof of purchase"

The thing was constructed at De Kooij (or better, Den Helder Airport). To the Dutch authorities they said the type was certified in Chile, so they got some kind of type certification, the chileans granted type certification due to the type being certified in the Netherlands. When the Dutch authorities found out, that was the end of Euro Enaer.
