Hyeres G.I.

Post by erik_kamphuis »

Last saturday oct 23rd I visited Hyeres on my way home from holidays.
Unfortunately nothing outside at Aeronavale, Douanes or Gendarmerie.
Only the flightline of the G.I. aircraft next to the fire trucks was seen from the spot at the north. Serials (x) not read.
Seen from east-west:
SA330 (1017)/AZE desert c/s
1x Alouette 3 marked 'INSTRUCTION' on tail, all red
1x Alouette 3 full mks Securite Civile
S.Etendard 46 good camo
S.Etendard (71 ?) good camo
Rafale M (M01)
S.Etendard (19 ?) faded camo and serial
S.Etendard 15 faded camo and serial
1x Alize ?? (than should be the 22)

The dump was all cleared, now a sand wall on this position.
At the main gate the HSS-1 182 was seen, but Frelon had gone!
I head from someone who visited here july21, the Frelon was already gone and they got 4 red Alouette's outside.

Anyone a clue on the 2 Alouette's ID's I saw? Not readable on the pictures I took.
