Etendard IVM at Savigny les Beaunes

Post by Polleke_NL »

I was working my way through some old logs and noted that on the display field outside at Chateau Savigny les Beanue I noted Etendard IVM no. 60 during my visit in 2009, checking the internet (Aerial Visuals) this serial indeed appears to have been located there but Bob Ogden's book shows this serial between brackets which would imply a fake serial. In later logs (2016 and 2021) the field also has an Etendard IVM in the same spot, but showing serial 16 which seems to be correct as per EMOOS but no record of this serial on Aerial Visuals? Did they swap aircraft so did they have both, or was no. 16 initially wearing a wrong/fake serial? (or the other way around; should it be 60 but is she showing 16)

Etendard 60 went from Savigny to Coubisou on 7 February 2015.
For the benefit of Mr. Kite, there will be a show tonight on trampoline
