Dhruv: 5067 was not a mispole, it is currently flown by 308 FS. It took off that morning together with 5072 (which is ex HL), 5081 and 5083. All are operated by 308 FS.

5081 and 5083 are also both ex HL as well, and were the pair that diverted to Lakenheath on their way back from Spangdahlem in the last week of June last year.

Can anyone update on the status of the stored THK F-35s please?
I ask because, despite spending considerable time on the evening of 16.3 looking across from the fire dump end of Northern Ave, we could only make out 3 THK F-35s in the sunshades. Although knowing that these sunshades are built in rows of six, we could see just 5 F-35s in this particular row - 2 LF coded machines nearest the runways and 3 THK marked machines behind them.
Thank you.

Interesting Freeman, at least you confirmed that at least 3 of the 4 Turkish are still at Luke...

Adding to your question, anyone know where 5 and 6 are, presumably still at Fort Worth?

Scramble reported a couple of months ago that 7-10 were delivered to Luke for the USAF/56FW as 18-5413/4/5/6, any sightings of these yet?

On 4th February this year I saw 3 Turkish AF F-35A parked under the sunshades. They were 18-0002, 18-0003 and 18-0004.

18-5415 is still at Ft Worth. It was seen there on 7th May.

AT-7 through AT-10 are still in Fort Worth and are regularly flown as chase and pilot proficiency. Below some more details on these and when I last noted them:
AT-7 18-5413/LF 61st FS marking last noted: April 23, 2020.
AT-8 18-5414/LF 61st FS marking last noted: April 16, 2020.
AT-9 18-5415/LF 63st FS marking last noted: May 4, 2020.
AT-10 18-5416/LF 308st FS marking last noted: May 4, 2020.

So none of these have Turkish markings. I doubt they ever will.

Many thanks Mark & Tally. Much appreciated.
I had seen a report for the end of January noting 4 stored under the sunshades, so it's good to know that the old Swarovski doesn't need a service yet.
Of course, this info begs the questions as to where 18-0001 and 18-005 & 6 are...

One would assume that 18-0001 is in a hangar at Luke (or look out for a USAF jet with the tail number 15-5219) and that 18-0005 and 18-0006 are stored at Ft Worth?

Thanks Mark. Indeed, the thinking being that 18-0001 could have been in the spray shop.

[18-0005 and 18-0006] / AT-5 and AT-6 are confirmed as still being at KNFW.

Thanks for the log. No Turkish ones seen? So these have moved on apparently, wonder if they are taken up by the USAF.
