Aviodrome

Post by Wijgert IJlst »

Noted today, outside on the Aviodrome platform (next to the Conny) was a Comet cockpit section (dressed-up as a Nimrod) in fake civil colors. It's white, with a blue cheatline and the titles "Air Cargo" just behind the cockpit windows. It was formerly owned by "Van Vliet" trucks in Nieuwekerk a/d IJssel.
The cockpit section looks kind of fake, but is the oldest airliner in the world. It's the former G-ALYW of BOAC.
Kind Regards / Groeten,

Spent today a few hours @ EHLE and I noted the following, next to the usual stuff:
PH-COM PA.30-160 Dutch Airline Pilots Aero Club
PH-SEW R22 Wikselaar Satelite Trading
PH-RLY Ce402B Heli Holland
PH-ACI CeT303 AIS Flight Academy
N298SQ/"8A-33" Piper L-18C does anyone know who the owner/operator is?

And a request:
At the Aviodrome apron a British Hunter (white and red/orange) was parked outside. Anyone for the serial?

Thanks in advance for the gaps!

Regards,
Joost de Wit
