Tommy, I think the reference to "338-H" is misleading - Whilst that was what was written on the aircraft last weekend, that doesn't mean it's a legitimate code, in the same way that "real" and "fake" serials get plastered on aircraft. "338-HE" that you refer to was 35060, which WAS written off in 19...

Did anyone check the T-33 which was preserved along the main base road. It is marked as "16524/338-H", but this is a fake ID. The real ID is still not known.
