I was able to make a picture of the cockpit, but did not manage to attach it to this message.

The J-245 is indeed on display on a pole at Ramstein AB. It is between buildings and not visible from outside the base. Three months ago (August), when I was on the base, it was still there. As it is properly displayed, I think it will stay there for many more years to come.

Ik lees opmerkingen als Prutsshow en dat het bij andere shows beter is. Echter bij Fairford bijvoorbeeld , maar ook andere shows, moet flink betaald worden. Verder heb ik ook maar even naar de deelnemerslijst van het hierboven-genoemde Skrydstrup gekeken, maar zie geen groot verschil met Leeuwarden....

Anyway, also according to their official website: http://www.airpower.gv.at/ the show is cancelled. So unless new information will be received, I suppose that this event can be removed from the Scramble Airshows Overview.

Absolutely true. Nevertheless, with a lot of public support, it may become more interesting for sponsors to "save the day". Maybe an idea for a marketing action to purchase more energy drinks of a certain famous Austrian company...

Daarnaast ben ik het er helemaal mee eens om een Russische Tu-95 te vragen, samen met een Il.76 en/of een Tu. 160. De hoofdreden, zoals al eerder door anderen genoemd, is dat "we" ze al zo vaak onderschept hebben. En als er dan toch demoteams komen, The Swifts met hun Mig 29's en de Russian Knights ...
