Re: F-35 Lightning II developments

Agreed, but in my opinion there shouldn’t be any numbers in a database until they are known and confirmed! Regards Mark In the last Lots, with the aircraft added by Congress often reported in an incorrect / contradictory way, there have been objective and understandable difficulties in identifying t...

Re: F-35 Lightning II developments

Well I would like to know if the numbers in the Scramble database have been ‘assumed’ or whether they are from a credible source?
There are no Norwegians (AM-) in the above list...
Scramble? Can you answer the above question please?

Re: F-35 Lightning II developments

5499 is not USAF. At the moment it is not known whether it is allocated or not! Regards Mark I think you need to read my post again. I didn’t say that the RAAF start with 5501. I said that they start at 5507 and that if the trend continues of Norwegian Jets being allocated FMS numbers before Austral...

Re: F-35 Lightning II developments

An update yes. AX-17 to AX-22 (all LOT12) are actually 18-5439 to 18-5444! They don't clash with any other jets at all. AF-273 is 18-5445, AF-274 is 18-5446 and so on... Regards Mark 18-5445 to -5448: There is a major confusing. They are both Japanese FY18s (AX19 to AX22) and USAF FY18s (AF273 to 27...

Re: F-35 Lightning II developments

Thanks. I think that if the Norwegians have ordered six jets in LOT13 then their FMS serials will be 19-5501 to 19-5506 given that RAAF AU-34 is 19-5507? Obviously that would mean that 5501-5503 as listed below can't be USAF. Regards Mark 5454/5455 reported as FY18 (ready to be proven wrong ) then w...
