BC aviation museum

It doesn't take long after you arrive by ferry at Vancouver Island that you do see the sign of the BC aviation Museum. It is situated in a corner of Victoria Int'l Airport and the former RCAF ground Patricia Bay. I paid the museum a quick visit and tried to photograph a view but the conditions insid...

Tofino floatplanes

Last month vacation in Canada brought us to Tofine at Vancouver Island, British Columbia. Although I do have no interest in civies, I did photograph a couple of floatplanes for this forum as there might be people who do like them. So these are for YOU. :-)

colours and markings of the Blackburn Buccaneer

Going through my RAF/RN slide collection I noticed all the different kind of squadrons and markings of the Blackburn Buccaneer and thought it would be nice to scan them and share them. Of course it is far from complete but I guess it is still a nice selection. Were known the credit is given in the l...

Cozumel, Mexico 2013

In December 2013 me and my wife drove around Mexico for five weeks in a rental. Last couple days we spend at a beach on the island of Cozumel in Quintana Roo state. Laying on the beach in the morning of 30 December a PC-7 was passing by. As this was a non-spotting holiday I could not resist this mom...
