Wave 6
271 S.70I SMURD
275 S.70I SMURD
The correct type is S.70M not S.70I.
Thank you for the correction Levente. I was working off Scramble's original report of their delivery.

Re: Bucharest Friday 1.12.23 Great Union Day flypast

Freeman. You beat me to it, with your excellent Flypast Log. I viewed, the Flypast from N44.48328 E026.07581.This in on a boulevard, named, Soseau Bucharesti Ploiesti, which is near the railway station. From here, the flypast passes right to left. I was thwarted, by the light a little. But didn't d...

Re: Bucharest Friday 1.12.23 Great Union Day flypast

As the official marching area is probably off limits, could you perhaps indicate from whence you watched/shot/logged the flypast (assuming it wasn't on you tube in Blandford Forum). Very observant Starman :respect: We viewed from 44.477781°26.078355°, as previously. Although with the fast jets taki...

Re: Bucharest Friday 1.12.23 Great Union Day flypast

Many thanks for this log, much appreciated. The C-130H USAF could be the 91-9143 which is also going to be a C-130 for the Romanian Air Force, expected Romanian serial will be 9143. Here you can watch the whole ceremonie including the flypast: https://www.facebook.com/watch/live/?ref=watch_permalin...

No flying activities heared the days around.
Except for a unidentified Coast Guard Dauphin passing twice.
Samos is about 75 miles north of Kos. The FRONTEX based CG Dauphin leaves there c .0630hrs each morning and returns at 0900hrs. Could this have been the one you saw?

Sjoerd wrote: 15 Jul 2023, 18:32 Thanks Freeman! Unfortunately I didn't take a picture of it, but for what it's worth it wasn't wearing any serial on it's tail any more. So either they scrubbed it or removed/changed more panels.
Sorry Sjoerd. I could have been clearer. I was referring to Thursday 13th July. Cheers, Freeman

Re: Toussus-le-Noble (LFPN/TNF) 2023 MIL

Hi Ben, Thanks for sharing the log. The reason why I was thinking of SZ (or FZ) was because LH Cougar in the RH hangar didn't have a refuelling probe and all other AdlA Cougars could be ruled out. The probe could of course been detached from the airframe. In that case I'll take SK. Also can your ma...

Hi Keith,
29501 looked like 224 on 31st (less haze at the end of the day) and the new Kazakhstan 218.

Re: Prora (Ruegen Island), Germany

Maybe we have to look again to the Technikpark at Grimmen for answers. They were displaying IL.14 SP-LNG as DM-SAD and a green Mi-2 (HA-BCI ex 94+81) together with a green An-2 (LY-ADM). The An-2 has previously been reported on this site as moving to the Prora museum and its colours indeed match the...

"Not the most reliable press source."
Indeed. That top speed they quote in the article for the A400M is impressively wrong.

Re: Lynx ‘83+55’ c/n?

Thanks again Sjoerd. Based on your observations, could '83+54' be based on the cast-off airframe from the original mk.88 83+07, which the Scramble database postulates might be at Nordholz? The 'c/n 540' painted on the tail, would be more appropriate on S.Korean Wildcat 16-0606 though. From Nils phot...
