Joost, according to Gerrit of the flight Operations, we can still have very good hopes that the Dutch Catalina will fly in time. So how long would it be really ago since a Super Constellation has landed in the Netherlands? I think it would be interesting to find out and certainly a nice aviation story for the media.

Whoeps, my mistake 8) I was actually wondering how long it's really been since a Super Constellation touched down in the Netherlands. The MATS Connie flew in 1998 at the Texel airshow, but was operated from Antwerp, so it could have been 20 years or even more... Anyone has more information? greetz, ...

Hello again, we've updated the website with a first list of participants! Especially all the warbird enthousiasts among you will be very pleased :wink: Please know that we'll also have a fairly large WW II & Vietnam re enactment camp this year, with not only soldiers, tents, jeeps but also tanks.......

thanks for all the kind comments folks, very appreciated. The succesfull spotterdays could indeed open the door to basevisits/spotterdays in an excercise like "anatolian eagle" and for the unkind comments...oh well, I've been doing this now for 24 years, so it's hardly a surprise that some dutch guy...
