Re: KNJK/NAF El Centro 2021/MIL

SBGrad wrote: 28 Feb 2021, 16:42 Ahhhh, that explains what I saw last winter (2020). In January at Nellis they had the 3 digit numbers, but at El Centro in February they were back using the standard 1-6.
Those three digit numbers are the last three of the serial.

I've never seen any AF serial numbers on these jets.
The only time I've seen anything is for a short period in the winter when they don't carry their Thunderbird number, and the last three of the serial is visible in that space.

Re: Marana-Pinal Air Park-Shell AHP - 2010

I pictured a group of 7 (probably without N117FB) on the north east side, next to the 2 Neptunes. I do recall seeing one seperately of this group, but I don't have it on picture. Maybe it was someone else in our group who ID'ed it. I have a group of seven, with the Neptunes, all identified as per y...

Re: Marana-Pinal Air Park-Shell AHP - 2010

Thanks for the post Sjoerd. Similar plot to a week before, although a few had moved around, and no Singaporeans around. We only saw seven HU-16s, N117FB isn't noticeable in any photos. Had another look and found another HU-16 lurking by a hangar close to the main ramp. Could this be the elusive N11...

Re: Marana-Pinal Air Park-Shell AHP - 2010

Going through some old photos from Silverbell a few years ago (1st March 2009!) and stumbled across this. I have a photo that shows an AH-64 '223' which I'm confident is a D. A close study of the photos shows that the A doesn't have the strobe lights on the engine casings and the D doesn't have the ...

Colin,
I thought 169648 was AD/254 and 169649 was AD/255?
Andy
169649 was AD255 at El Centro on the 26th Feb (see the El Centro thread)
