Online US Spotting Guide

I just discovered this online US Spotters Website. http://nycaviation.com/spotting-guides/ I am familiar with the Ablany, NY airport, and these guys really know the subject.

My apologies if this is already well-known here.

Right, that G-IMAC is really funny! Looks like its made out of boiler plate metal. Here's one at Rutland (KRUT) Vermont http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b360/tomhvt/AIRCRAFT/EXECUTIVE/CL601/CL601N137CL.jpg And one at Burlington (KBTV) Vermont http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b360/tomhvt/AIRCRAFT/E...

B.99 N9995 of Air New England at Boston-Logan, March, 1975. The Beech 99 was a real workhorse for the commuter or "3rd level" airlines in New England in those days. It is widely used by the package transport industry in the area still. The only real competitor to the 99 in the pax market was the Twi...

S-3A 157995 at NAS Willow Grove, PA 14 September 1974. I have also seen this aircraft referred to as the 4th YS-3A, and perhaps it was originally designated as such. Seen here in NATC markings, this was my first shot of a Viking. http://www.vermontel.net/~tomh/images/AIRCRAFT/USN/TYPES/SEARCH/S3/S3A...

Re: UH-1

The aircraft markings make me think the Huey was from one of the Army training bases in the southern part of the USA, maybe Alabama or Georgia. The uniforms are making me think mid-60s.

Re: 1970s Mil Collection

"I hope you will like these slide scans of my visit to aircraft carrier USS Yorktown, which visited Rotterdam harbour on October 18th, 1969." Those shots from 1969 are most welcome additions, Peter. After all, stating this is for "70s Mil" is just a guideline. For much of the 1969 I was busy, but no...

The colors on this Douglas product should seem familiar here. This is "Sir Isaac Newton", DC-8-53 PH-DCI (msn 45613) of KLM at JFK, 27 April 1974
