What about another theory? What if the big Hawk doesn’t work nearly as well as advertised? There have been a few reports/comments critical about the mission package maturity and reliability. You can sit at 60k feet all day but if the recce package doesn’t work what is it worth? Then again this may b...

Are the UH60M's a short term solution to the A-stan CSAR problem or will they be returned and used in Sweden?

So are these Blackhawks "purchased" to be used long term? Or are they stricktly for Afghan ops and the Swedes will get rid of them once they finish in A-Stan?
