Nightflying week.

LTG 62 flew some 10.000 hours in 2023 and for 2024 12.000 are planned.

For the future, after all 53 A400M will be delivered 20.000 hours should be flown in one year.

A400M 54+21 of LTG 62 arrived at Hannover-Langenhagen on 1.12. for maintenance with Airbus until at least January. It is not yet known if it will actually loose it’s special colourscheme during this stay.

Confirmed were 10 additional F-35A and 4 P-8A, the latter well purchased from 2030. Time will tell if the Poseidon production line is then still open!

For the planned deployment Eurofighter GS 30+82, 30+87 and 31+06 of TLwG 71 arrived.

TLwG 71 will arrive with three or four Eurofighters on 27.11. and will fly missions on two days. Departure is planned for 30.11.

The P-8A should be used for 10 years only and the first will arrive in late-2024/early-2025. Time will tell, if the MAWS could promise an in-service-date of 2034/35.

Denmark will get an ASW aircraft after 2031 with the P-8A Poseidon and some three to four aircraft (after calculating it after the amount of money reserved for them) will presumably be purchased.
