The training for tomorrow's fly-by just took place. I was quite far away but noticed :
- 1 C-17 + 2 jets (Rafales or Jas-39 ?),
- 1 C-17 + 2 jets (")
- 2 F-16s
- 7 A-jets
- 1 E-3 Awacs.

With those four C-17s arriving, I guess that we may expect some US helicopters flying over and around Brussels soon (for Obama's visit, a few years ago, we had VH-60 and VH3 flying over : it looks like they use to make some check flights around).

It just flew (at 9:10 AM) over downtown Brussels, at quite low level.

Does anybody know wether or not it will come back at Brussels airport today ?
And on which ramp is it parked (Abelag or Melsbroek) ?

Bad weather condition + unexpected plane at take off + "fast" picture through airport window all made this picture a poor quality one.
But the unusual subject itself deserves maybe its place here.

C-130 Hs assault landing planned for tomorrow morning, following local Newspapers.

Did you know about this F-84 F, ex-BAF, now underwater at the Carrière de la Gombe, close to Liège.
We discovered it on a diving excursion.
